- The Microway flickerFixer or the C= A2320 "Amber" boards will display the
- normal Amiga output, deinterlaced, at 31.5 kHz on a VGA or multisync
- monitor. They don't add any display abilities, just change the output to
- be flicker-free.
-
- Graphics boards add new screen resolutions and color depths, but, AFAIK,
- do not affect the stock Amiga screens. In other words, (AFAIK) there
- aren't any graphics boards that will also act as deinterlacers for the
- stock Amiga output.
-
- For flicker fixing boards, you must have at least a VGA monitor or
- multisync to get any use of them. Some graphics boards can display 15
- kHz screens, so they'll display on a 1084 or the like, but a multisync
- monitor is still needed to take full advantage of them.
